I've got the 2nd ed.. I found on the second reading, when I wasn't as emotionally invovlved with the true humans suffering, that this book's time line and depiction of events was extremely acurate. It provides an objective, base-level understanding of the futures markets, including: the history of the futures contract, the purpose of the Futures Exchange, how to chose a broker, market forces affecting futures prices, and trading strategies. Some may consider this the book's greatest weakness. (A related disease is "digital-itis". If you're wondering where to begin, I highly recommend this book to be you're starting point.. The first half of the book is a re-hash of stuff more Aspies already know. I recommend this book for everyone. I was on the job market for 5 months and had been to coutless interviews either with headhunter or employer, and I started to question myself that maybe I was poor at interviews.
