As a Nurse and a Vermonter I found this book to be so true of the Vermont I know and our blessed health care providers. He never lied about the risk and the patients always new that he would do the best to get the best results for you. I could'nt put it down! It reads like a great movie. The pictures were nice but more for their decor than storage reference and you can get better decor books. Not hard for non medical types like myself. A very interesting life story and everyday life of a top neurosurgeon is revealed here. It was an intelligent and insight description of what it takes to be not only an excellent brain surgeon but one that had faith in his skills and the strength that is needed to be one of his patients. out of the last 13 books i've gotten off amazon this is the only real disappointment, 12 out of 13's not bad.. Being a patient of his probably makes me an unfair favorable bias towards this great doctor. Wonderful to be such a gifted surgeon.. man, i bought this book b/c
