good theme, though.. perfect. "It is like studying a foreign language; you cannot do it all of a sudden, but by repeating it over and over you will master it. Maybe my expectations were too high. This book has a great format with interesting case studies involving a number of respiratory conditions, however if you are looking for a thorough examination of respiratory disease, this is not where you will find it. it is very interesting.. It is lavishly illustrated with beautiful photographs. It follows the basic formula of disbelief and isolation, followed by a group realization that something is not quite right. The details are precise and I felt the misery those soldiers went through, both the actual warfare and how they dealt with it, or at least as much as a reader can.
