The authors reassure us what to look for, how to react, and who to call when we're not sure if our breasts are healthy. The net result was that the book was a bit of a “slow-read”, something I don’t like when reading for pleasure.

In spite of the shortcomings, I enjoyed the book, and found it worthwhile to read. Rankine's scope spans far more than the other authors, while evoking far more imagery, detail, empathy and disappointment. Nerti is amazing and way more of a Queen than Farrell is a Prince, but in a good way. "Reader from Indiana" also states that there was little research done for this book. Perhaps the ages of the authors (at most 51 years?) has resulted in a less comprehensive view of shadow work. It really helps me to plan trips (when the best dates would be and the best places).
Honestly, this is a huge, thick book, but there is so much great information in it that I'm afraid I'm not giving it justice. It a
