They arrived & he kept her hidden from the Earl. Bought for my 10 year old boy. Great storyline and plot I like the heroine strong morals and personality. If you fall in love with the scientific enterprise, and see that Darwin played by the rules, you'll be in good shape.
Shermer's strategy is interesting. Can you imagine that. I enjoyed this book very much.. Both rose to power at roughly the same time, and the book concentrates on their stories.
* I have previously read quite a bit about both these men, but there was a lot of material in this book that was new to me. Instead, she looked around her, realized that she was in one of the very best scuba-diving places in the world (as long as you could secure the essential compressed air), and plunged in, as it were.
